Woe to Those at Ease in Zion - Amos

Prosperity without repentance is a pathway to destruction. Israel's contentment living off the false justice and lives of treating the poor like they wasn't of worth led to a swifter justice from God prophesied by Amos and fulfilled with the Assyrian nation. When we mirror the same injustice and placing our wants ahead of God's Word, the wrath of God will come with a force that we never imagined even though He told us about it.
